Dr. Lori Paires

Dr. Lori Paires is certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry who enjoys practicing in Manhattan and is focused on preventative dental care. She graduated magna cum laude from the College of the Holy Cross and was inducted into both the Phi Beta Kappa and Psi Chi societies.

After a career in marketing and client services in Boston, Dr. Paires decided to pursue dentistry to escape the confines of a desk and help people in a more personal way. She subsequently graduated from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. While in dental school, Dr. Paires participated in a number of outreach programs that included countries such as Jamaica and the Dominican Republic.

Dr. Paires ultimately completed her pediatric residency program and served as chief resident during her last year at Cohen’s Children’s Medical Center of NY/Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Her training has given her extensive experience in all aspects of pediatric dental care, including infants and patients who are medically compromised or developmentally disabled.

Her hobbies include traveling and enjoying good food.

Dr. Ela Jamiolkowski

Dr. Ela Jamiolkowski is a board eligible Pediatric Dentist. She graduated from Villanova University and went on to complete her dental education at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. She completed a General Practice Residency at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in NYC. Following a year of private practice where Dr. Ela was only treating pediatric patients, she decided to return to Mount Sinai for a 2 year program to become specialized in pediatric dentistry. During this time, she served as chief resident and helped develop an oral health program for local elementary schools. She received extensive training in behavior management, use of nitrous oxide, sedation dentistry and treatment of patients with special needs.

Currently, Dr. Ela was chosen for a fellowship through the Columbia University- College of Dental Medicine. She is completing a part time masters program and will graduate with her MPH in August 2015. She serves as a part time attending at Mount Sinai Hospital where she works with the pediatric dental residents. She is a member of the American Dental Association and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. In her spare time she serves on the junior board of the Inner City Scholarship Fund, enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
